    Ramotshere Moiloa consoles the families of victims that lost lives on N4 road

     

    Ramotshere Moiloa Local Municipality wishes to express heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims who lost lives on the N4 road in Lehurutshe on Friday afternoon. A head on collision occurred involving two vehicles, resulting in fatalities and injuries. Emergency services responded to the scene, and all necessary measures are being taken to support the victims and their loved ones.

    “It is with deep sorrow that we start the month of March with tragic news that have shaken our community to its core. Our hearts ache for the lives lost and the families affected by this devastating event. To the families who have lost loved ones, we extend our deepest sympathies and stand ready to provide any assistance needed during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you navigate through this unimaginable loss.  We further wish a speedy recovery to those who have been admitted in hospital. As a community, let us come together to support one another, offering comfort, strength, and solidarity to those affected by this tragedy. Together, we will heal and emerge stronger from this dark moment. May the souls of the departed rest in peace, and may their memories be a source of comfort and inspiration to us all.”, says Mayor Dina Pitso.

    As investigations of circumstances surrounding this accident continues, the municipality urges the public to prioritize safety on our roads. Road accidents not only claim lives but also leave lasting scars on families and communities. Adhere to traffic regulations and prioritizing responsible driving practices is advised at all times.

     

    Meanwhile, the municipality will engage with other stakeholders including the Department of Community Safety and Transport Management, Social Development, Road Accident Fund and other stakeholders to see how best they can assist the families.

     

    Funeral details will be communicated in due course and the community will be updated.
